Good day to all of you!
I am going to attempt to hold a meeting on next Thursday, January 26. I have picked a movie and it is an old one «They live» (Чужие среди нас) 1988. I want you all to watch it beforehand as we DO NOT watch it at our meetings, but discuss it there. You may have troubles finding the movie with English subtitles [at least I failed to do that], but there are sources where you can download it with Eng/Rus stream + Rus_Subtitles. I will put up all the links below.
Depending on the number of people coming I am going to finally formulate our agenda for the evening. Basically it will be pretty much as what we are all used to:
- speed-meetings, where we discuss some questions related to the movie topic
- word-games [the word-list is coming up (hopefully at the following weekend) and as usually it will be put up on the wall Vkontakte English Movie Club]
I am also planning on bringing some new ideas to our meetings. I can not tell you what it is going to be as I am still working on it, but it has to do with some educational stuff... Well, you will see. All you need to do is to watch the movie, give some though to the ideas represented in it [in English of course, think in Eng, that's the way to do it], go through the word-list, get familiar with words and bring your positive and determined attitude to have a good time and learn something new.
